Avon Center Retail Stores Open In J.C. Penney, Sears In Fall 2001

Avon's pending distribution deals with J.C. Penney and Sears will give the direct seller a presence in potentially 2,000 U.S. doors and the opportunity to "dramatically expand" into the retail arena, Avon said. J.C. Penney and Sears operate 1,190 and 858 U.S. stores, respectively.
