Methacrylate Ingredients Designated Safe For Professional Use By CIR

The Cosmetic Ingredient Review Expert Panel concluded its tentative final review of the methacrylate ingredient class with a "safe as used" by professionals designation at a meeting in Washington, D.C. Sept. 10-11. At the session, 19 methacrylate monomers were determined to be safe under current use conditions based on data recently supplied to the panel.
