Ethnic beauty brand remains primary focus of parent company at this time, according to the Butler, N.J. firm. Posner was acquired by the beauty manufacturer, private label developer and contract packager Carole Cosmetics in December 2001, not by Kao as reported in "The Rose Sheet" Jan. 6. Firm has since changed its name to Posner. Carole Cosmetics has a 25-year history in the beauty industry, manufacturing private label products for firms such as Clinique, Revlon, Bath & Body Works and Mary Kay.
