German firm Vorwerk & Co. will acquire direct-seller Jafra from private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, companies announce March 30. Jafra Chairman and CEO Ron Clark will retain his position under the new owner. "The acquisition represents an expansion of Vorwek's direct sales activities into cosmetics, fragrances and skin care products, which is the largest and fastest growing direct sales segment worldwide," the company says.
