The International Fragrance Association announces that for the sixth year in a row, random testing of 50 fragranced products – from markets across 10 countries – has demonstrated its member companies to be 100% compliant with ingredient safety standards in the group’s Code of Practice. Under the testing program, products including fine fragrances, body care and household products were analyzed between May 2011 and May 2012 by Eurofins, an international group of laboratories that provides testing services for consumer and food products, as well as pharmaceuticals. IFRA President Pierre Sivac states: "Our objective at IFRA is to ensure the safety of fragrance products for the consumer and the environment.
