IFRA Backs European Proposal For Stronger Trade-Secret Protections

An EU Commission proposal to harmonize and enhance protection of trade secrets across member states bodes favorably for the fragrance industry, which “has long recognized the significance of its know-how for its long-term development,” IFRA says.

The International Fragrance Association applauds a European Commission proposal that would strengthen trade-secret protection across Europe by harmonizing member-state laws and helping to ensure sufficient redress at the court level in instances of misappropriation.
