CSC To Continue Pressing For Product Reformulation In 2013

NGO the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics says pressuring firms to remove suspected hazardous ingredients from personal-care products is one of its top priorities for the year. The organization targeted Avon with a campaign to “kiss toxics goodbye” and has come down on Dolce & Gabbana for its new perfume for babies.

The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics intends to keep putting pressure on personal-care companies to reformulate personal-care products to eliminate potentially hazardous ingredients.

According to spokeswoman Margie Kelly, pushing for reformulation is the NGO’s top initiative for 2013.
