GC3 Preservative Innovation Project Brings Industry Sponsors Running

Leading personal-care firms, mega-retailers Target and Walmart and entities from the NGO and regulatory arenas have lined up to sponsor the Green Chemistry and Commerce Council’s preservative innovation competition, now tentatively slated to kick off in April 2017. GC3’s Co-Director Monica Becker provides an update on the project, which she suggested has received unprecedented sponsor support.

The Green Chemistry and Commerce Council is “cautiously optimistic” that promising preservative innovations will emerge from a competition now slated to launch in 2017 with enthusiastic backing from leading cosmetics and household product industry players.
