Warned in July about products marketed as dietary supplements but spiked with drugs, R Thomas Marketing LLC, of the Bronx, recalls six brands that contain an erectile dysfunction active ingredient and nearly 20 other brands received from the same suppliers. The firm said in a statement FDA posted Jan. 11 that it is voluntarily recalling all lots of its brands the agency tested and found contained sildenafil, the active ingredient in Viagra. Sildenafil is not listed on the product labels. R Thomas, which also operates supplement marketer Just Enhance LLC in Trenton, N.J., added that "out of an abundance of caution" it is recalling all lots of other products it previously marketed that "were sourced from the same vendors as the" products found to contain sildenafil ([A#05150810001]).
