PCPC’s Global Priorities: A Q&A With Executive VP Francine Lamoriello

Regulatory convergence through NAFTA renegotiations is at the top of the Personal Care Products Council’s international agenda, according to Francine Lamoriello, executive VP of global strategies. In an interview with the Rose Sheet, the exec identified regulatory reform in China, emerging microbead legislation and proposed animal-testing bans around the globe as other priorities for the trade group.

France's food safety regulator ANSES is proposing a reproductive toxicity category 1B classification for CBD under the EU's CLP regulation, which would mean an effective ban on CBD in cosmetics and foods.
