The Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee aims to put out a staff discussion draft on cosmetics reform by Feb. 23 and mark up related legislation April 18, according to a Feb. 8 statement on the committee's spring agenda released by Chairman Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., and Ranking Member Patty Murray, D-Wash. The lawmakers do not cite a specific cosmetics bill, with two proposals currently under Senate consideration.
