Cardinal Adding "Blow-Fill-Seal" Technology With $390 Mil. ALP Purchase

Cardinal Health is adding to its contract manufacturing business with the approximately $390 mil. acquisition of Automatic Liquid Packaging, which manufactures Rx and OTC sterile liquid pharmaceuticals and other health care products. Dublin, Ohio-based Cardinal announced the acquisition agreement with privately held ALP of Woodstock, Ill. Aug. 5.
