Italy’s Angelini Pharma has named Pierluigi Antonelli as its CEO with immediate effect. The multinational Pharma and OTC player said Antonelli brought to the role a “leadership approach based on integrity and transparency,” which had been refined over a 20-year career in the industry.
Antonelli joins Angelini from Novartis AG, where he led the Swiss’ firm’s European Oncology operation. Prior to that, Antonelli was at Merck & Co. Inc
