New Hope Network’s Natural Products Expo West, scheduled for 3-7 March in Anaheim, CA, postponed due to the coronavirus (Covid-19), but the group announced 3 March that it expects to schedule another date for the event by mid-April, either in Anaheim or a suitable alternative. “As with all our events, it was the intention here at Expo West in Anaheim, to follow official guidance from local authorities and to listen to the voices of the community we serve and support, in order to maximize the health of the industry. Today it is clear the majority of those voices are saying they want Expo West but not this week,” New Hope Network Fred Linder said in the release. New Hope, which is owned by HBW Insight publisher Informa Inc., said it plans to work with all exhibitors and attendees on credits and support, “with particular focus on the many entrepreneurs and small businesses who are the heartbeat of this community, for whom we are going to stand up a rebate fund of $5m targeted at their specific needs.” The company continues planning to conduct Natural Products Expo East, 23-26 September in Philadelphia.
