Reckitt is refocusing its consumer health portfolio by offloading the troubled Scholl brand and acquiring fast-growing US topical analgesic Biofreeze.

It’s one in, one out at Reckitt Benckiser as the UK-based health and hygiene player looks to refocus its portfolio. The firm will bolster its topical pain relief offering by acquiring US brand Biofreeze, while at the same time showing the door to its Scholl foot-care brand.
