J&J unit faces allegations of having exposed Neutrogena sunscreen consumers to avoidably high levels of carcinogenic benzene in a case seeking class action status in California federal court.

Johnson & Johnson’s Neutrogena Corporation had the highest levels of benzene detected in sunscreen products tested by Valisure LLC, says a consumer class-action complaint filed on 21 June in California’s Central District.
