Elizabeth Corrigan, founder and CEO of Randolph, N.J.-based Prestige Testing, is 2021-2022 board chair at the Independent Beauty Association following a 31 August vote by the trade association’s directors and members. Corrigan – who also founded The Complete Package LLC, which helps clients bring new products from concept to consumer, among other services – has more than 25 years’ experience in the beauty industry. “Having to lead some of the largest and most respected global giants like L'Oreal, LVMH, and Blissworld, Elizabeth has undoubtedly made a lasting impact on those brands,” IBA says in a recent announcement. Ken Marenus, president and CEO of IBA, which was the Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors before rebranding a year ago, notes, “Our industry is facing many challenges on many fronts.
