Bausch + Lomb Corp. appoints two industry veterans who previously worked with its CEO’s former company to lead the Canadian firm’s ophthalmic pharmaceuticals division. Andrew Stewart will start as president and Bob Bailey as executive vice president and chief legal officer effective on April 24. Christina Ackermann will resign from all three of the ophthalmic division posts on 28 April.

Bailey and Stewart each “bring more than 25 years of unrivaled leadership and expertise in their respective areas,” said CEO Brent Saunders, who returned for a second stint as CEO of the Vaughan, ON-based firm in March
