Italy’s CBD Narcotic Reclassification Temporarily Suspended By Court

An Italian administrative court has suspended the recent reclassification of CBD as a narcotic until 24 October, when it will look at the matter more closely.

A recent reclassification of cannabidiol (CBD) as a narcotic by the Italian Ministry of Health has been suspended by an Italian administrative court until 24 October.

At this point, the court, TAR Lazio, will hear from all parties involved and decide whether the suspension should continue until a final decision can be made, explained
