Management changes at RXi Pharmaceuticals

The US biopharmaceutical company RXi Pharmaceuticals has appointed Ramani Varanasi vice-president of business development; she most recently served as head of business development at Archemix. The company has also promoted Stephen DiPalma from chief financial officer to executive vice-president of business operations and chief financial officer, and Dr Joanne Kamens from director of discovery research to senior director.
