New appointment at Facet Biotech

Facet Biotech (US) has named Dr Ted Llana senior vice-president of commercial and corporate development. From September 2001 to November 2008, Dr Llana served in various positions at Biogen Idec, including most recently as vice-president of the oncology/rheumatology strategic business unit. Facet is a biotechnology company launched in December 2008 as a spin-off from PDL BioPharma.
