Sanofi acquires Universal Medicare's nutraceuticals business in India

Shares of Aventis Pharma, Sanofi's Indian subsidiary, surged on local bourses after the company said that it was acquiring the branded nutraceutical formulations business of the privately owned domestic firm, Universal Medicare.
