Merck Serono bans strikes and presses ahead with Swiss HQ closure

Merck Serono has closed its consultation with employees and will press ahead with its plan to close down its Swiss headquarters in Geneva and move the head office to Darmstadt, where parent company Merck KGaA is based. It has also issued an internal memo banning staff from carrying out strike action or demonstrations on site. Staff are poised to vote today on possible strike action.
