Orchid takes 20% of start-up Allecra in antibiotic alliance

Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals and the newly formed, venture capital-financed European biopharmaceutical firm Allecra Therapeutics have entered into a partnership to develop novel antibiotics to treat multidrug resistant bacterial infections.
