Sanwa and Kowa's DPP-4 licensing deal goes global

Sanwa Kagaku Kenkyushohas granted fellow Japanese firm [C#200200841:Kowa]exclusive development and marketing rights to its antidiabetic DPP-4 inhibitor, SK-0403, in all markets worldwide excluding South Korea, China and Taiwan. The agreement extends an August co-development and co-commercialisation alliance for Japan, where SK-0403 is in Phase II trials. Sanwa will receive undisclosed upfront, milestone and royalty payments.
