INTERVIEW: Johnson & Johnson Innovation's J-Labs seeks out new ideas in Texas
Johnson & Johnson has long been an investor in early stage science, and the company is increasing its geographic reach with the launch of a new J-Labs incubator in Houston, Texas. The incubator is part of its J-Labs offering, formerly known as Janssen Labs, and will be housed within the Texas Medical Center's new Innovation Institute. Called J-Labs @TMC, it will be home to up to 50 start-ups that could come from any areas that J&J is involved in: namely, consumer, medical devices/diagnostics, and pharma.
