AstraZeneca’s BioVentureHub is helping generate a climate of open innovation to help grow and nurture the Scandinavian life science ecosystem, according to the exchange's CEO. AZ BioVentureHub was established in 2014 in Gothenberg, Sweden, aimed at drawing together emerging biotech and medtech businesses and academic groups. It has already has attracted 18 companies, one academic group, four external sponsors and two scientific partners, the hub's head Magnus Björsne says in a television interview.
