A “pharma city” within an existing big city is being proposed in India's Hyderabad by its chief minister, who said the plan would include residential housing for company employees as well as a dedicated power generation plant. The proposed project was unveiled to representatives of the Bulk Drugs Manufacturers Association during a meeting at which the chief minister promised several other accommodations to the needs of drug makers locating in the Hyderabad area.
