Kinetix Pharmaceuticals is a small molecule drug discovery company developing protein kinase inhibitors for four major therapuetic areas: immunosuppression/autoimmunity, asthma/allergy and inflammation.

Protein kinases are structurally related enzymes responsible for controlling a wide variety of the intracellular signal transduction processes by which cells within a tissue or organ process information and respond to environmental changes. There are several hundred members of the protein kinase family, each having a specific function. Although certain protein kinases are found in all cells, many have restricted functions and are found only in a specific cell or tissue type.
