SERUM HAS LAUNCHED A HEAT-STABLE ROTAVIRUS VACCINE

Serum Institute of India Ltd.’s new thermostable pentavalent rotavirus vaccine is expected to create a flutter in the market given its price point and first-of-its-kind tag. Competitors like Hilleman Labs, which is also developing a heat-stable rotavirus vaccine, appear unperturbed, however, and claim marked differentiation for their products.

Serum has also launched a recombinant rabies monoclonal antibody, developed in a research partnership with the Massachusetts Medical School, US.
