The fledgling UK biopharma company KaNDy Therapeutics has announced promising Phase Ib/IIa clinical trial data with its oral once-daily neurokinin antagonist, NT-814, in women with debilitating menopausal symptoms, offering hope the compound may have a more rapid onset of action than current hormone replacement therapies (HRT), which can take weeks to months to become fully effective.
