Investors, academic institutions and big players in the pharma and biotech world will be among those heading to Seville next week (Sept. 25-27) to attend BioSpain as the country's life sciences companies look to attract more funding and partnerships.
The biennial event has been organized by the Spanish BioIndustry Association (ASEBIO) since 2003, and the latter's general manager Ion Arocena, told Scrip that BioSpain "has practically doubled the number of exhibitors, attendees, and companies and has even tripled its number of one-to-one meetings compared with the figures from the 2008 event in Granada," the last time it was held in Andalusia
