Lilly laid out its 2019 financial forecast and commercial and R&D goals during an investor event in New York. While there were no big surprises, the company updated investors on important catalysts in diabetes, immunology, oncology and pain.

Eli Lilly & Co. has had a big run delivering new drugs to the market, launching 10 new drugs in the last five years. Now the company's big goal is to turn those launches into blockbuster-level commercial successes and continue the pattern of bringing more novel agents to market.
