As Hatteras Venture Partners gets ready to fund a new slate of early-stage biopharmaceutical, medical device, digital health and diagnostic companies, General Partner Clay Thorp told Scrip the venture capital firm remains confident about investment prospects in its home state of North Carolina and throughout the US.
