Dr Reddy’s To Steer Russian COVID-19 Vaccine Plans In India

Major Indian pharma firm Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. is venturing into the COVID-19 vaccines arena, agreeing to co-operate with the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) on clinical trials and distribution of the Sputnik V vaccine in India.

The tie-up comes amid some concern around the speed at which Sputnik V made it to registration in Russia, backed by limited data, going by what has traditionally been considered as adequate
