The COVID-19 pandemic drew renewed attention to the issue of clinical trial diversity, but discussion of the issue at The Atlantic’s Health Equity Summit on 22 June highlighted how the focus has begun to shift from the pandemic to other disease areas, including oncology and rheumatology.
