Prominent Chinese virologist and director of public health at Key Laboratory of Emerging Infectious Disease at the University of Hong Kong, Guan Yi has, in an interview with the Hong Kong-based Phoenix TV aired on 8 November, voiced caution over mass PCR testing that had been conducted but the lack of mass testing to show the level of antibodies in people vaccinated for COVID-19 in China.
