Significant Cash Injection For Amsterdam-Based Fund

The new capital will allow the VC arm to create and finance "a new and larger portfolio of innovative companies that align with the future strategies" of Merck's businesses.

M Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of Merck KGaA which has been instrumental in developing over 80 companies, is to receive €600m from its parent to increase the number and size of its investments in innovative start-ups.
