Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has started introducing a novel digitalization process at its domestic plants manufacturing biopharmaceutical products, which is enabling the Japanese firm to optimize workloads by automating planning and the assignment of staff with appropriate skills, while improving remote communication between workers.
