October ended and November began with the announcement of three new venture capital and equity funds with more than $1.3bn for health care, life science and biopharmaceutical investments. Revelation Partners revealed its $608m Fund IV on 25 October, Bioluminescence Ventures (BLV) emerged from stealth with $477m raised across two funds on 1 November and Abingworth said on 30 October that it raised the $356m Clinical Co-Development Co-Investment Fund (CCD-CIF).
