He brings over eight years of experience from Reuters, where he most recently served as Editor-in-Charge of the India company breaking news file. He led real-time coverage of high-impact corporate developments, including major mergers and acquisitions, executive appointments, regulatory actions, and market-moving events across sectors in Asia’s third-largest economy. Over the course of his career at Reuters, Indranil also reported on financial and business news across a wide range of geographies, including the U.S., U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and India. He briefly headed a Reuters data journalism initiative in partnership with Google, exploring new frontiers in technology-enabled reporting. When he’s not donning his journalist hat, Indranil finds joy in capturing the soul of rural India through his photography—a passion that has earned him national recognition. Outside the newsroom and behind the lens, he’s often found on the football field, behind a drum kit, or cruising down quiet highways with his golden retriever, Maximus, by his side.
