In a busy March for UK generic price rises, the steepest increases came for two different presentations of Parkinson’s disease drug trihexyphenidyl, according to the latest figures from market researcher WaveData.

Comparing trade prices to UK independent pharmacists between February and March 2025, WaveData calculated that trihexyphenidyl 2mg tablets in 84-count packs had risen by an average of 260% to £13.17...
