ARPA-H Announces Grants To Advance Rural Care

The 12 initial awards, which total almost $100m, are part of an ongoing program to develop a high-tech mobile hospital that can reach patients with limited access to health care.

Twelve organizations have received awards from a US government initiative aimed at improving the quality of health care available in rural areas, marking the first funding publicly issued by the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) in 2025. Participants include device firms as well as health care providers.
