Sandoz head de Gavre chairs UK’s BGMA

Tim de Gavre, head of Sandoz UK, has been elected as chair of the British Generic Manufacturers Association (BGMA) for a two-year term. He replaces Peter Ballard, who will serve a further year of as vice-chair of the industry association. Former McKinsey consultant de Gavre previously chaired the BGMA’s sister body, the British Biosimilars Association (BBA), before handing over to Sandoz colleague Kavya Gopal and becoming vice-chair of the BGMA.
