The UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is preparing to recruit a new chief executive officer, after current chief Ian Hudson announced plans to step down from the role in September 2019 “following almost two decades with the agency”. The move comes as the UK is preparing its ‘Brexit’ departure from the European Union (EU) in March next year.
