Sandoz’ Symjepi Set To Undercut Rivals

Sandoz has set a US launch price for its Symjepi epinephrine anaphylaxis treatment that is significantly below that of Mylan’s EpiPen and Teva’s generic.

Sandoz intends to introduce its Symjepi (epinephrine) 0.3mg pre-filled syringes in the US early next year at a wholesale acquisition cost (WAC) of US$250 for two devices. This represents a 16.5% discount to the US$300 WAC for both Mylan’s authorized generic of its EpiPen reference brand and Teva’s generic version.
