Richter And Mithra Extend Estelle To Latin America

Firms Add Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico And Peru To Partnership

Gedeon Richter and Mithra have expanded their partnership on an in-development contraceptive, Estelle, to cover several Latin American territories on top of Europe and Russia.

Gedeon Richter and Mithra Pharmaceuticals have added several “key markets” in Latin America to a licensing deal for the in-development Estelle (estetrol/drospirenone) 15mg/3mg oral contraceptive that Richter has already licensed for Europe and Russia.

According to the latest agreement, Richter will distribute Mithra’s product in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru, with an option to further extend the partnerships to
