Hikma and GlaxoSmithKline have decided not to proceed with a deal that would have seen Hikma acquire a majority stake in the firm’s pharmaceutical and consumer health business in Egypt and Tunisia, the companies have announced.

In January, Hikma revealed that it had entered a non-binding term sheet for GSK’s pharmaceutical and consumer businesses in Egypt and its pharmaceutical business in Tunisia
