Global Private Equity Fund First Invested In Firm In June 2021

Viyash Life Sciences said it intended to seek further investment opportunities to build scale after establishing an integrated generic pharmaceutical platform in India in partnership with the private equity giant Carlyle.

Private equity giant Carlyle has partnered with active pharmaceutical ingredients and bulk drugs manufacturer Viyash Life Sciences to build an integrated generic pharmaceutical platform in Viyash’s local market, India, alongside the company’s founder and co-founder.

Viyash was established by the former Mylan chief operating officer Hari Babu in February 2019, with co-founder Srihari Raju Kalidindi joining in August of that year
