Natco Furthers Chinese Interest With Xinjiang Pharmaceutical Alliance

Indian Firm ‘Active In China, But Through Partnerships,’ First Approval In 2022

With a strategy to expand its reach across Asian markets, Natco Pharma has struck a distribution agreement with Zhongchao Inc.’s Xinjiang Pharmaceutical to sell select products in China.

Natco Pharma will look to introduce some of its India-manufactured generics in China via a partnership with Zhongchao Inc.’s Xinjiang Pharmaceutical, in the company’s latest move toward broadening its footprint in the market.

Under the firms’ partnership, Xinjiang Pharmaceutical will introduce “different products from Natco based on the needs of patients in China,” for example anti-influenza drugs during the flu
